2026 Boreal cross-country race

Race Highlights

The race features a unique post-race meal consisting of various homemade soups and sweet desserts. It is a great way to refuel and enjoy the community spirit.

Two photographers will be available on race day, with photos being made available after the race on the club’s Facebook page.

As in previous years, we have committed to collect non-perishable food items. Your donations will help families and individuals in need right here in our community as proceeds go to:

• West Island Mission
• West Island Women’s Shelter

Medals will be awarded for the first 3 runners in the 5K and 10K (both Men and Women). Participation medals will be awarded for all kids running the 1K. In addition, prizes will be offered by our sponsors, so have your bib handy!

Race Information

Parking

Parking is available at the Centre socio-culturel de l’Île-Bizard, 490, montée de l’Église, Île-Bizard.

Bib pick-up and registration

• Pickup location will be at the Centre socio-culturel de l’Île-Bizard.
• Pickup time is race day, starting at 7:30 AM until 9:30 AM
• On-site registration: Available before race start
• Registration confirmation and photo ID required

Course and terrain

• Fine gravel, forest paths, uneven surfaces, moderate hills
• Water station: Halfway point of the 10K race. None for the 5K race

Start

The 5K start line is on Montée de l’Église, around 800m from the Centre socio-culturel. The 1K start line is the same as the 10K and takes place along Montée de l’Église.
