I know we had a couple in the past. I am not sure if anyone is going this year. Last year it was a stinker in terms of heat. It is a week before my half ironman in Tremblant so I don't think it would be wise to do it. I think it is a nice course though! Good luck Randall!

Hey Everyone,

I wanted to share a quick update from the Pointe-Claire half this past weekend: The course was scenic/nice, it was a fun atmosphere and the volunteers were awesome.. but man was it hot! The heat really destroyed me! I finished the run, but was in complete survival mode and had to walk/jog/walk/jog to the end. My time was around 2:14. Another quick start..and slow finish..At least I'm consistent :D Bring on the next run!!!

Cheers,
Randall

Well done Randall.
I understand exactly how you felt.
Last year I was aiming for 2hrs but did 2:14.
It was so hot and I was so glad when my friend threw a bucket of water on my head at about 16km.
