Cornwall Run to End MS
April 28, 2018

We did it! We chose Cornwall as our official club spring race. I have never run it but I have heard good things about this event.

We need your help in order for our registrations to take place. '' How?'' you ask.
First of all, keep your eyes open for an e-mail that will explain about the registration process.
Secondly, please post on this thread of the forum. If you think you might be running this event, please let us know, as soon as you can, the distance you think you will probably run.

Cornwall is going to be sooo much fun!!! Pretty close to home, a running distance for everyone, inexpensive, small and friendly, etc.

I’m thinking of running in the 5K. I support the cause!

Also, it’s on the second day I can run in the 70+ category.

But does it conflict with the ScotiaBamk half? No - I just checked and the ScotiaBank race is the week before.

Brian, thanks for checking the ScotiaBank! Whew!

And, yes, the cause of MS is a perfect fundraiser race for our club.

As I Iook at their website, I am so convinced that this will be a great event for our club. Let's get a big group, celebrate spring running and then gather/eat/share our stories!

Alex and I may be in Europe during this time. We will try to confirm in the next few weeks.

I hummed and hawed about the marathon but I decided it wouldn't be smart (I know, never stopped me before...) after almost 3 years to jump in without rebuilding a base. So it's the half for me.

I want to go to Boston in 2019 to see what I can do in my new age category, so marathon it will be in Cornwall.

I've registered for the marathon as well.

Sounds like a big contingent. Very exciting. Michael, we're waiting for you to also register for the marathon. It's your hometown so you're best placed to take us on a few training runs on a course that must be very familiar to you.
